To all, Cheap Family Meals wishes you a day of love! STAY OUT OF THE KITCHEN. I hope there are no cheap meals planning going on tonight. You deserve a nice expensive dinner prepared by some world renounced chef with a kitchen staff to clean the mess. Okay I know it’s a dream for most but hey life without dreaming gets to depressing. If you can’t afford that expensive dinner and have to cook tonight then I hope it’s something simple and quick. ORDER PIZZA!!

I got smart this year. I bought my husband sweet seat tickets to Monster Jam – the monster truck show! But it gets better, it also includes 3 tickets for the kids. Yes Mom gets a night to herself. I’m not a big fan of over sized trucks smashing cars and such.

So no cooking, no cleaning just a whole lot of relaxing. My girls are staying with me and we are ordering pizza and watching movies all night. I know its not the traditional method for celebrating Valentines, but honestly, my family is anything but traditional!

New features and more $5 menu’s on the way

Thanks for being patient with me as I re-designed Cheap Family Meals.

I found that the old template was hard to navigate.

This new template will allow users to get a better idea of all the great features of the site from every page.

I will also be adding a snack idea category’s, lot’s more $5 menu’s and a recipe section full of easy, cheap and delicious recipes.

Hang in there with me as each days the colors will change but the content will only get better.

Also please leave a comment with your ideas, suggestions and tips.
